This is my story. Me, my wife and two boys ages 4 and two moved to North Carolina in September of 2007 it was love at first site for the four of us. Even though we left our home state of New Jersey and our Family behind we still felt as if Clayton, NC was our meant to be destination in life. The people of this town are what all Americans should be. It was perfect. I had a job lined up that was to start in October and it quickly fell through and I spent the next two months seeking employment with failure at every corner. In December we had to make the heart breaking decision to return to New Jersey for my future sake of employment to support my Family.
I made contact with Mary as a walk in client. She greeted me in a professional manner and promised me the world. As usual anyone with common sense would not fall for that used car approach. Not Mary. It was true she made it clear that she would work every second to ensure that my Family received endless commitment from her company and do what it would take to provide satisfaction and a peace of mind. As everyone knows the market changed tremendously from the fall of 2007 into 2008. My home took six months to sell and during this time Mary spent every day, seven days a week focusing on our needs. This is true. This woman took every phone call from me while I resided in NJ, every email from me and even called me and emailed when I wasn’t seeking status just to make sure I knew she cared and was on the ball. Mary handled many issues for me and my Family that we could not personally address as we were in New Jersey including checking on the home every several days, ensuring that our landscape was up to standards and forwarding mail that still made it to the box.
Every time I called Mary to complain about why our home hasn’t sold (purely out frustration and obviously beyond Mary’s control) she still took it on the chin, never raised her voice and continued that promise to get it sold.
Well, enough. Mary got our home sold and completed the entire closing process for us as we sat in NJ. She kept us posted twice a day until it was all over. This woman, Mary Jones is truly a professional and a person that stands out in the Real Estate community of Johnston County. She is a people person first and a realtor second. This is a combination that not only sells homes but makes Family’s happy.
Mary we will never forget you and your unconditional service to our needs and the future for the sake of our sons. We can only hope to raise our boys to be the person you are: pleasant, caring, respectful and professional.
