On the edge of Greenville and just down the street from Ironwood you'll enter the neighborhood of Rock Springs Center & Jockey Club. Since the highway connects directly to the Vidant Hospital and Brody School of Medicine, it is an ideal location for medical professionals.
This neighborhood has real history for myself as I grew up riding at Rock Springs when it still was a 29 Horse Boarding Facility. The white picket fences still line the roadways, but the horses are long gone. The neighborhood is also a short distance away from the Oakwood School. A private school dedicated to teaching a well rounded education. Often in the past, neighbors would see riders strolling through the neighborhood on horseback as many riding trails use to run throughout the community. Since the horses no longer use the facility, you'll see grand events such as weddings now in their place.
